We pride ourselves in designing and building websites that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. We create accessible sites that don't detract from the user experience or the creative impact - take a look at our work, we hope you agree. It goes without saying that accessibility and usability must go hand in hand.
We work closely with a pan-disability testing organisation, Shaw Trust for real-life website disability testing, on top of our standard accessibility testing procedures. We do this to get real feedback from real users - a site can pass automated tests but a small tweak can make the world of difference to a user accessing your site using assistive technology.
We build to the strict standards set out in the COI's Web standards and guidelines.
Your website will be designed to adhere to the current WAI AA WCAG 1.0 guidelines as validated by Watchfire's 'Bobby', one of the benchmark tools used to validate website accessibility, and best practice from WAI AAA. In addition the code will be W3C validated.
The website will be designed primarily for display in the current (non Beta) version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari (and the previous non Beta version).
If you have specific requirements please let us know, our implementation team are passionate about making our sites as accessible and inclusive as possible.
The S8080 team have been an excellent partner, helpful and easy to work with, and the website is very successful and has received many unprompted commendations.Sandra Wilkinson - Department of Health
